Who keeps track of what the guardian is doing?

Video Transcript

The court is supposed to keep track of what the guardian is doing, but they don’t necessarily do the greatest of jobs. It’s important if you are a family member and you are concerned about a guardian not doing their job, that you can become involved in the guardianship proceedings, you can request documents from the guardian, you can review the annual accountings, and you can help assist the court in making sure that your relative or loved one is properly cared for.
