Should I consider life insurance during the estate planning process?

Life insurance can be a very critical component of almost anybody’s estate planning. For people who have a lot of assets, life insurance can be used to pay estate taxes, or to provide liquidity to the estate. For young parents life insurance is very important, because in the case of an untimely death it provides funds to be used to care for the surviving spouse and the children as they get older.
